His Excellency Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Pakistan, met in his office today with Dr. Palitha Mahipala, Representative of the World Health Organization in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, they discussed developments related to Covid-19 at the local and international level and exchanged views on other related topics.

Dr. Mahipla praised the measures taken by the State of Qatar to contain and prevent the spread of Covid -19 and expressed the organization's appreciation for the generous Qatari support to brotherly and friendly countries as well as relevant international organizations.

His Excellency the Ambassador praised the efforts of WHO in combating Covid-19, wishing that this health crisis ends soon.
