Federal Minister for Aviation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Ghulam Sarwar Khan, met today with H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. During the meeting, bilateral relations, ways of developing them and other matters of common interest were discussed.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan celebrated the National Sports Day of Qatar. H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, diplomats, members of the Military Attaché and the embassy staff participated in different activities such as climbing, running and a number of other exercises. In a statement on this occasion, His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani stressed that the Sports Day represents an important annual occasion that makes sports one of the most important pillars of the National Vision 2030, explaining that Qatar's desired goal from this day is to pay attention to sports and make it a style life.

Advisor To the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, His Excellency Muhammad Ayub Afridi, met today with His Excellency Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Pakistan, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. During the meeting, bilateral relations and the ways to enhance them and other matters of common interest were discussed.

H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani received in his office at the Embassy, H.E. Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Tarek Dahroug. The meeting was held in cordial atmosphere and the issues of common interest were discussed.

Pakistan's Maritime Affairs Minister H.E. Syed Ali Haider Zaidi received a written message from Qatar’s Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti pertaining to bilateral relations, delivered by H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani during the meeting on Monday 25/10/2021.
