  • The embassy does not attest any certificate issued by a school, college or university that is not based in the country or that issue certificates online.
  • The embassy does not attest any online program certificates except when the university or college is based in the country.
University certificates need to be attested by the HEC, while certificates issued by the school/college board need to be attested by the IBCC then the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs before they are attested by the Embassy.
Different power of attorney documents and contracts from one Pakistani citizen to another who is residing in Qatar or to a Qatari citizen. The official documents are attested at a fee that is determined based on the type of document. A special power of attorney would require notarization by a notary public while a general power of attorney needs to be registered at court then attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before they are attested by the embassy. The embassy requires a copy of the passport with a valid Qatari visa for the recipient of the power of attorney.
Certificates issued by all different departments need to be attested by the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs before they are attested by the embassy.
The embassy cannot attest a certificate of origin in isolation from the relevant invoice, whether it is for food or any other products.
  • The embassy receives applications for entry visa from the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Pakistani nationals to work in the Pakistani Embassy in Doha or to attend conferences, forums, military exercises and for official visits.
  • The embassy receives applications for entry visa from foreign nationals (diplomats) who are recognized by the Pakistani government, and the applications coming from the same mission to obtain an entry visa to the State of Qatar. It also accepts tourist visa applications from Pakistani nationals when they meet visa requirements.
The embassy receives applications by Qatari citizens whose passports were lost or expired or who have new babies born in Pakistan to issue a one-time pass ticket to return home. The embassy informs the Immigration and Passports Department to issue the pass ticket.
  • The embassy receives requests to replace/renew passports from Qatari citizens staying outside of their home country.
  • Applications must be submitted by the owner of the passport in person. This is for students, patients, civil servants and delegates to long-term courses.
  • Applications to renew or replace a passport are received after meeting all requirements and conditions set by the Consular Affairs Department in Doha.
  • All applications along with necessary documents will be sent in a diplomatic portfolio to the Consular Affairs Department.
  • New passports are delivered to the owner in person after they are received from the concerned department in Doha.
  • The embassy receives request to issue power of attorney (general or special) from the Qatari citizen (the applicant). A copy of his valid QID or passport must be attached.
  • The applicant must appear in person in front of the consular officer in the embassy.
  • A fee of 600 Pakistani rupees is collected to issue the power of attorney (what equals 20 QAR).
  • The power of attorney is issued after all requirements are met. It is issued using a specific template form issued by the Consular Affairs Department on the official letterhead of the embassy.
  • The embassy receives requests to transfer the corpses of non-Qataris who used to be resident in Qatar and whose families wish to bury in the State of Qatar.
  • The request is forwarded to the Consular Affairs Department in Doha in order to get approval to issue an NOC document to transfer the corpse of a foreigner to Doha.
  • The embassy receives requests from Pakistanis who used to reside in the State of Qatar to issue a certificate of good conduct for the period they spent in the State of Qatar.
  • A letter should be addressed to the embassy stating the purpose of the certificate and mentioning the dates of the applicant’s previous stay in Qatar.
  • All requirements set by the Consular Affairs Department in Doha must be met before the application is received.
  • A fee of what equals 30 QAR is collected for this transaction.
  • The request is then forwarded in diplomatic portfolio to the Consular Affairs Department in Doha with all necessary relevant documentation in order to issue the certificate of good conduct.
