H. E. Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, received today, H. E. Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Alatia, State Minister of Defence Affairs who is currently on a visit to the Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were viewed and ways of its support and development were discussed specially in the sector of military cooperation.  They also discussed the recent regional and international developments.

H. E. Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Alatia, State Minister of Defence Affairs also called individually today on H. E. Mr. Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Defence Minister and H. E. General Rahil Sharif, Chief of Army, H. E. Genera Rashid Mahmood, Chairman Chiefs of Joint Staff Committee of Pakistan and H. E. Rana Tanweer Hussain, Minister of Defence Production of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meetings bilateral relations of the two friendly countries were discussed specially the military sector to find ways of more support and development.
