The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Saqr Bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, told the "Jang" media group that Qatar should not be accused of supporting terrorism, adding that the United Nations is the only body entitled to determine who supports terrorism and who does not support it, pointing out that the State of Qatar rejects these accusations by all means. He stressed that the truth is otherwise, as Qatar is working with other countries, including the United States, to fight terrorism, this is evidenced by the presence of the US base in Qatar.
He added that the blockade countries accused Qatar of supporting terrorism, but they have not been able to provide any evidence to support this, and that Qatar is ready to work on combating terrorism, pointing out that such measures taken against Qatar are hampering efforts to stabilize the region and its security.
The Ambassador noted that Qatar supports education in a large number of Arab and Islamic countries, where it supports more than 7 million students all over the world through the "Educate a Child" program.
And through "Silatech" organization, Qatar provided 300,000 jobs in a number of Arab and Islamic countries. With the support of the State of Qatar for education to children and providing employment opportunities for the youth, it is trying to prevent them from falling into the trap of terrorism.
