The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Saqr bin Mubarak Al-Mansouri, sponsored the distribution of "school bags" provided by the State of Qatar to a number of schools in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan.  This gesture comes within the framework of the Qatar Education Support Program in Pakistan, bags will be distributed in cooperation with the Pakistan International Human Rights Organization to a number of schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Ambassador Al-Mansouri said in a statement that the distribution of "school bags" is part of the humanitarian efforts of the State of Qatar for the Pakistani people and within the development support programs implemented by the State in the friendly Republic of Pakistan, especially in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which is affected by terrorism.

He stressed that these efforts and programs reflect the positive role played by the State of Qatar in standing with peoples affected by terrorism, pointing out that support for the education sector comes within the framework of building communities.

On his part, “name and position” the Pakistani official who received the bags thanked the Ambassador Al Mansoori for his sponsorship of school bags distribution program that is provided by the State of Qatar.

He added that the State of Qatar is known for its dedication in providing assistance and selecting its beneficiaries. He affirmed that Qatar's support for Pakistan enjoys the approval of officials and the general public and will contribute to strengthening brotherhood and friendship between the two peoples in both countries.
