HEMinister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, met with HE Ambassador Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. They discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them, in addition to other issues of common interest.

HE Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on National Security DrMoeed Yusuf met in his office in Islamabad, HE Ambassador Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Islamabad represented by His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Mr. Nasser Hassan Al-Suwaidi, Third Secretary, provided medical aid from Qatar Charity to the Islamabad Thalassemia Center, in presence of officials from the Pakistani side and Qatar Charity. His Excellency the Ambassador visited various departments of the Thalassemia Center and distributed gifts among the children who are being treated here.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received a written message from His Excellency Imran Khan, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, related to bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.

HE Dr. Shireen Mazari , Minister for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. They reviewed the bilateral cooperation ties and issues of common interest were discussed.

His Excellency Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met, on Friday 5/3/2021, in his office at the embassy, Ms. Patricia McPhillips, Director of Office and UNESCO Representative in Pakistan. Ms. Patricia McPhillips appreciated the efforts of the State of Qatar and the continuous support it provides to the various UNESCO programs in the fields of education, science, culture and other areas of the organization’s work, all over the world.

HE Ms Zobaida Jalal, Federal Minister for Defence Production, met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. They reviewed the bilateral cooperation ties and issues of common interest were discussed.

Qatar Petroleum entered into a new long-term Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO)for the supply of up to 3 million tons per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

HE Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, met with HE Ambassador Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. They discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, and affirmed the mutual desire to enhance bilateral cooperation.
