Operational SOPs for International Inbound Passenger Flights

​ In order to ensure safety of passengers and crew (cockpit & cabin) and to minimize the risks associated with COVID-19, following measures are to be taken in case of passenger and charter. aircraft flight operations to Pakistan: 1-Travelers shall be required to provide proof of negative RT-PCIR test conducted not more than 96 hours from the commencement of original travel. 2-It shall be mandatory for all passengers traveling to Pakistan to download and install PASS TRACK app from the Google Play Store / Apple Store and enter the, personal details as required. From 5th October, 2020 onwards, the airlines shall ensure that the passengers have uploaded their information on the app or have a printed copy of uploaded information generated by the app prior to issuance of boarding passes at point of original embarkation. Those passengers who do not have android I Apple phones shall enter their data on the web portal (https://passtrack.nitb.gov.pk/login).Passengers who prefer to upload their data on the web portal shall be required to provide paper print of the same prior to obtaining boarding pass at the airport of original ernbarkation. Passengers shall be required to capture the image of their RT-PCR test and upload it on the app or web portal.


Hamad International Airport, Qatar, Becomes First Global Entity to be Verified by BSI for its COVID-19 Aviation Health Safety Protocol Implementation

Hamad International Airport (HIA) is proud to announce that it is the first entity in the world to achieve independent verification from BSI (British Standards Institution) for its implementation of COVID-19 ICAO Aviation Health Safety Protocols. The verification was conducted following successful audits for Compliance to International Civil Aviation Organization Civil Aviation Recovery Taskforce ICAO CART. Qatar’s airport received the verification certificate during an official handover ceremony attended by Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Mr. Jon Wilks, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar, H.E Mr. Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al-Subaey, President of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, HIA’s Chief Operation Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Mr. Jamal Dalli, Business Development Manager at BSI, among other BSI officials and executives from MATAR Qatar Company for Airports Management and Operation.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Islamabad donated medicines and medical equipment for combating COVID-19 to Pakistan Thalassemia Center. On this occasion, Mr. Masoud Talib Al-Athbi, 2nd Secretary at the Embassy, visited Pakistan Thalassemia Center in Islamabad, where he was received by Air Vice Marshal ® Mr. Aftab Hussain, The Chief Administrator. During the visit, various departments of the center were inspected, and a quantity of medicines for patients and medical equipment for combating Covid-19 were donated.
