His Excellency Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa received His Excellency Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Pakistan, at General Head Quarters of Pak Army in Rawalpindi today. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields, as well as discussing regional and international issues of common concern.

Establishment of the Office of the UN Counter-Terrorism Program in Doha

The State of Qatar, represented by the Shura Council, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations, represented by the Office of Counter-Terrorism, aiming at providing a framework for cooperation to enhance the role of parliaments in countering terrorism and the conditions related to this phenomenon, and to facilitate cooperation between the two sides in areas of mutual interest.
