HE the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif met here on Tuesday with HE Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, who is currently visiting Islamabad.

HE Saqr bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with Mr. Habib Malik Orakzai, President Pakistan International Human Rights Organization.

H. E. Mr. Saqr bin Mubarak Al Mansoori, Qatar's ambassador to Pakistan, praised the relations between the two countries. He said in an interview with the Pakistani daily "Pakistan Observer” that there is a sincere approach between the two countries to push forward cooperation between them. He also expressed Qatar's appreciation for the role of Pakistanis working in Qatar and their participation in its development. He added that more Pakistani workers will be attracted to participate in the projects related to 2022 World Cup and other projects.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Saqr Bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, told the "Jang" media group that Qatar should not be accused of supporting terrorism, adding that the United Nations is the only body entitled to determine who supports terrorism and who does not support it, pointing out that the State of Qatar rejects these accusations by all means. He stressed that the truth is otherwise, as Qatar is working with other countries, including the United States, to fight terrorism, this is evidenced by the presence of the US base in Qatar.

H.E. Mr. Sertaj Aziz, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with H.E. Mr. Saqr Bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Pakistan. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries

HE the Director of Information Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar's surprise and denunciation of describing the current situation, of cutting off diplomatic and economic relations with Qatar and closing land, sea and air spaces as a boycott, despite international consensus that it is an illegal siege, pointing to remarks made by some officials in the GCC countries that severed their relations with Qatar.
